Dr Haroon R Afridi graduated in 1995 from Khyber Med College (univ of Peshawar), in Pakistan. After an internship in Medicine and Surgery he came for post graduate training to the USA in 1998. He did his residency in diagnostic radiology at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA, followed by a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Harvard med Schools, Brigham and Women’s hospital, in Boston MA.

After his fellowship he moved to the United Kingdom and practiced in the National health service for almost 3 years. He moved back to the USA in 2007 and was in private practice until the end of 2022, and chief of interventional radiology for the last 5 years. Since then he has been practicing as a traveling consultant at different hospitals in the US.

Dr Afridis professional interests include all the gamuts of
interventional radiology but particularly Peripheral arterial disease, venous insufficiency, prostate, uterine and hemorrhoid embolization.
