Dr. Joel Raborn is a Board-Certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist (IR) at IR Centers in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended the Heersink School of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). After graduating in 2015, he completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at UAB in 2020 with Early Specialization in IR followed by additional subspecialty training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at UAB with the Independent IR Residency Program.

He served as Chief Resident of IR from 2019-2021 and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He has several years of clinical expertise performing minimally invasive therapies throughout the greater Birmingham community. Dr. Raborn joins IR Centers to continue his passion of bringing the benefits of these minimally invasive therapies to the patients of Alabama.
