

Dr. Joseph Caresio
Dr. Joseph Caresio is a board-certified interventional radiologist bringing decades of expertise in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to IR Centers Kansas City. With a distinguished career in vascular and interventional radiology, Dr. Caresio specializes in advanced therapies for arterial and venous disease, embolization treatments, and oncologic interventions.
Dr. Caresio earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1987 after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri. He then pursued a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, which he completed in 1991. To further refine his expertise, he completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1992, training under some of the leading experts in the field.
Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Caresio holds Added Qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, reflecting his extensive knowledge and commitment to excellence in minimally invasive therapies. His decades of experience in interventional radiology, coupled with a dedication to patient-centered care, make him an invaluable member of the IR Centers Kansas City team.
