Dr. Joseph Eason
Dr. Joseph Eason, a native of Alabama, completed medical school at the University of South Alabama in 2008, earning election to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Following internship in Birmingham, AL, he went for radiology residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Dr. Eason then returned to Birmingham in 2013 to complete fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at University of Alabama – Birmingham (UAB) followed by a full-time interventional position with UAB.
Dr. Eason remained in academics at UAB until 2017 before shifting to private practice where he now works as a diagnostic and interventional radiologist with Birmingham Radiological Group and IR Centers at UCA. Dr. Eason has a wide range of interests in interventional radiology including genitourinary interventions, embolization, TIPS, and tumor therapies.
