Dr. Ahmad Atassi is an experienced Interventional Radiologist with a distinguished background in Neurointervention, Interventional Radiology, and Peripheral Vascular Intervention. With over two decades of clinical expertise spanning the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East, Dr. Atassi brings a global perspective and deep knowledge of cutting-edge minimally invasive treatments to IR Centers in Syracuse. Dr. Atassi completed multiple prestigious fellowships, including Neurointerventional Radiology at the University of Ottawa, Neuroradiology at UW-Madison and SUNY Downstate, and Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology, and Diagnostic Physics, as well as the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. His broad expertise allows him to provide comprehensive patient care, focusing on image-guided therapies to treat vascular conditions, neurological disorders, and cancer-related interventions.
Dr. Shelby Holland is a board-certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist at IR Centers in Syracuse, New York. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from California State University, Chico. She then attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific graduating as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, she completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency with Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. She continued her training at UICOMP for her Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship. Dr. Holland has many interests in the field of interventional radiology with expertise and clinical focus in minimally invasive urologic, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal and women’s health interventions.
