Dr. Mamdouh Khayat

Dr. Mamdouh Khayat is a Board-Certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at Prostate Centers in Columbus, OH. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and earned an Academic Merit Scholarship during his tenure. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at the University of Louisville Hospital. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Ohio State University and was accepted into the Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology Clinical Pathway. He thereupon completed his fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Michigan.


As Associate Professor at The Ohio State University, Dr. Mamdouh Khayat expanded procedural service lines and served as the Chair of the Prostate Artery Embolization and Uterine Fibroid Embolization Committees—optimizing procedural protocols and increasing procedural volumes. He has extensive experience in the minimally-invasive treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), varicoceles, peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, and women’s health issues, such as uterine fibroids and pelvic congestion syndrome. He has received awards, authored publications in peer-reviewed journals, and engaged in clinical research.
