Dr. Ryan Scott

Ryan Scott, MD is a board-certified Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist at IR Centers in Phoenix. He has been in practice for 11 years with particular interests in therapeutic arterial embolization, interventional oncology, and endovascular management of vascular disease. Dr. Scott received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas. He then completed his diagnostic radiology residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix where he served as Chief Resident. He then received additional fellowship training at The University of Texas Health and Science Center in San Antonio Texas where he earned a subspecialty certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Medical education has been an important focus of Dr. Scott’s while in practice in Phoenix. He served as the Program Director for the Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency at Creighton School of Medicine and participated as Core Faculty for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency for 10 years. Dr. Scott’s primary expertise is in image-guided, minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. He formally served as the Interventional Radiology representative for the Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia Center of Excellence at St. Joseph’s Hospital, specializing in endovascular treatment of arteriovenous malformations. Dr. Scott is a member of the Society on Interventional Radiology and Western Angiographic & Interventional Society
